2002 WMAIA Citation Award

These acknowledgements were awarded to the Churchill Neighborhood project, in Holyoke, MA


2014 Rental Housing Association's Community of Excellence Award in the Green/Sustainable Category

This award was garnered for the Village at Hospital Hill Phase II, Northampton, MA, developed and managed by The Community Builders, Inc. 


2009 Massachusetts Historical Commission Preservation Award

This award was presented to the Church Street School Senior Housing, Ware, MA


2013 Accessible Design Award 

The Hoosac Hall project at MCLA in North Adams, MA won a jointly sponsored by the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) and the Massachusetts Architectural Access Board (MAAB). The award recognizes Hoosac Hall for the utilization of accessible architecture, which dramatically improved the appearance and use of the facility.


King Street Condos Design Competition Winner

In 2014, Marc led a team of people from Dietz & Company Architects to best other local architecture firms by winning a competition for a beautiful, upscale six-story condominium project in downtown Northampton, MA. 

The design was the result of a collaboration between Marc, Marco Crescentini and other team members.


 Marc Sternick Named as Recipient of the NESEA 2020 Distinguished Service Award 

Marc Sternick has been named as the recipient of the 2020 Distinguished Service Award  by NESEA (North East Sustainable Energy Association). Marc has been actively involved with this organization for about 25 years and has served on their Board of Directors and served as the 2014 Conference Chair.  NESEA advances the adoption of sustainable energy practices in the built environment by cultivating a community where practitioners share, collaborate and learn.
